KONEKSI is partnering with AktivAsia to implement the Gender Equity Leadership Program for KONEKSI’s knowledge partners based in Indonesia, GEDSI Networks, and Indonesian government stakeholders. This is a six-month, intensive life-changing leadership journey that begins with an immersive in-person training on 14–16 April 2026. It goes beyond a short course or workshop. Over six months, participants will engage in rigorous learning, reflection, and practice, strengthening their research and analysis, leadership capabilities, and strategic organizing skills through a feminist and gender equity lens. The program is designed to transform how participants understand power, lead movements, and build collective solutions rooted in justice, care and solidarity.

AktivAsia strengthens the leadership of social justice campaigns across Pakistan in partnership with Center for Social Innovation in Developing Countries (CSIDC). Through immersive learning spaces, group coaching, and peer support groups (learning pods), we have worked with campaigns rooted in gender justice, climate action, and energy transitions. This partnership has nurtured stronger, more coordinated collective leadership in these spaces.

BELANTARA JAWA 2025

Belantara is a five-day training programme to strengthen the foundation of campaigning and community organising. This program introduces basic toolkits for creating campaign plans, developing digital and communication strategies, and also building an organising strategy to explore more creative movements.On Belantara, we also introduce ways to appreciate our work as activists on the frontline. Many Indonesian fellow activists often feel overwhelmed and burned out, facing the hard truth of reality from the government or the community they advocate for. This programme aims to strengthen activists' campaign capacity in Indonesia, from planning to execution, using toolkits and frameworks introduced by AktivAsia. This training is also used for us to share learnings and experiences from different areas and sectors where they work, what works, and what the challenges they face, so they can figure out the problems they face in each area.
