Pamitinan is an intensive, experiential training designed to lay the foundations for people-powered organizing and strategic campaigning. Tailored for both emerging and experienced campaigners, this workshop offers a deep dive into the principles and practices of campaign organizing, leadership, and movement-building. Serves also as a retreat-style workshop, it allows campaigners to reflect on real campaign scenarios and reconnect with purpose. Objectives are (1) to practice the toolkit used by AktivAsia for campaign planning, strategy development and building people power for effective campaigns; (2) to develop and exchange skils, practices and experience across climate and energy campaigns using approaches that will create a valued learning experience for participants; and (3) to create a learning community between climate and energy campaigners with a continuous action-reflection to drive climate action and energy transition for development.
